Square Meal Deal

In an exemplary demonstration of Masonry in action in the community, sitting Master of Richland Lodge No. 283 F&AM, W∴B∴ Patrick Zuniga, and Senior Deacon Bro. Robert Lougee, met with Jaime Carson, Executive Director of Somerset Counseling and Board Member of Benton Franklin County Recovery Coalition at a local Sterling’s restaurant for a light meal and to drop off a check from a fundraiser conducted during the annual Table Lodge held at Wine Social in honor of St. John the Baptist Day on Saturday, June 24th.

What better venue for a meeting of like minds united in purpose than that of breaking bread. The group enjoyed lively discussion and shared perspectives on a variety of related topics ranging from striving to meet the many challenges associated with substance abuse, mental health, and approaches to recovery in our communities, and culminated with a preview of the upcoming “Run for Recovery,” which is one of Benton Franklin County Recovery Coalition’s major annual fundraisers. Run for Recovery, a 5K Race to Benefit the Benton Franklin Recovery Coalition, will be held this year on September 16th at 9:00 AM, Wade Park in Pasco Washington.

Masons are committed to bettering themselves, their community, and the world. Each Mason is on a journey of self-discovery having a belief in something greater than themselves. A journey where they can trust that they’ll be supported by other good men along the way.
